REVÉ Holiday Dinner Performance
On December 12 2016, REVÉ created a special art installation and tastemaker celebration at the Pancake Epidemic HQ, a living art gallery, workspace and launchpad for creative collaboration.
To illustrate the artistic potential of everyday forms, Pancake Epidemic paired the REVÉ collection with specially commissioned ceramics from LA sculptor Brian Rochefort, known for the vivid and textural glazes that turn simple vessels into intriguing studies of transformation.
Similarly, René's dimensional frames, unusual color selections and artful reinterpretations transform the function of eyewear. Evocative gradient, mirrored lenses and detachable elements elevate the designs into wearable art.
The creative mashup extended to food and entertainment. Chef and author Eddie Huang's Baohaus LA provided "Fresh Off The Boat" Chinese-Taiwanese bao sandwwiches. The 1500 or Nothin' band got the party rolling with their distinctive live music.
